EAST GREENWICH – The Children’s Workshop located at 934 Main Street in East Greenwich, RI, joined BrightStars and is now recognized for its ongoing efforts to provide high standards of quality childcare. A BrightStars rating recognizes programs that demonstrate quality beyond state licensing standards. The Children’s Workshop has taken an important step and is making a big difference in the lives of children. With hard work and dedication, they have received a four out of five star rating.
“We pride ourselves on providing care and early education for children and their families. We are excited to be recognized for achievements. Our teachers are very dedicated to these children,” said Kelly Hogan, Director of The Children’s Workshop in East Greenwich.
In order to achieve a BrightStars rating, the program was assessed across many quality standards and criteria. A BrightStars rating provides accurate, reliable information about program quality to families in the community.
“BrightStars raised the bar for early childhood and school-age programs in Rhode Island,” said Lisa Hildebrand, Executive Director of BrightStars. “The Children’s Workshop’s BrightStars participation means that they are a key player in a statewide effort to ensure high-quality early childhood care and education for Rhode Island families.”
